Rabbi Ravitz told The Jerusalem Post that he has been
working for some time on a plan, which would be centered on a
reform of the Law of Entry, rather than the Law of Return.
The latter is used by the vast majority of immigrants. by Eliezer Rauchberger MK Yisrael Katz (Likud) asked Attorney General Eliakim Rubinstein last week to close the pig pens in Kibbutz Lahav.
Those pig pens are operating in violation of the law. MK Katz
demanded that the Attorney General also examine the charges
that the business permits for those hogs were issued through
dishonest means.

in the administration of the Chinuch Atzmai, to establish a
Rabbinical committee, and to include the representatives of

Atzmai.

driver is impatient and the bus is jammed with seminary students,
cheder children and elderly people.

brokenhearted Bnei Brak residents accompanied the avreich, Rav Osher
Yitzchok Gerstenkorn, z"l, on his last earthly journey. He was
niftar on Shabbos night after davening. He was only 29 years
old. He is survived by his wife and tender orphans: one who is two-
and-a half and the other only nine months old. The petirah was
sudden and unexpected.
by Betzalel Kahn The bitter news of the petirah of the Admor of Lelov, the tzaddik, HaRav Avrohom Shlomo Biderman zt"l, became known last motzei Shabbos. Like his father, the Admor HaRav Moshe Mordechai of Lelov, HaRav Avrohom Shlomo returned his pure soul to its Maker with the departure of Shabbos. Many of his chassidim, deeply concerned over his health, streamed to the hospital where he was being treated throughout Shabbos. At the time of his petirah he was surrounded by his sons, his son-in-law, and many of his chassidim. As his soul left for Olam Ha'emmes they cried out Shema Yisroel with heart-rending tears. He was 73 at the time of his petirah in Yerushalayim. A Large Crowd for the Hanochas Even Hapinah of Makova in Ashdodby Yated Ne'eman Staff Two weeks ago the cornerstone was laid for the Khal Yereim Makova mosdos haTorah in Rova 7 in Ashdod. Participating in the ceremony were prominent admorim, rabbonim and dayanim, led by the Admor of Makova.
