Rosh Yeshiva of Midrash Shmuel Visits England

by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Last weekend the London and Manchester kehillos were privileged to host Rabbi Binyomin Moskovits, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Midrash Shmuel in Jerusalem.

On his short visit to London, Reb Binyomin spoke at the JLE on Friday night and was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goldring for an alumni yeshiva gathering on Sunday afternoon. The shiur was well attended by over thirty alumni and prospective students.

On Monday, Reb Binyomin gave a shiur in Manchester's Jewish Grammar School.

Founded in 1992, with the blessing and support of the late HaRav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach zt"l and other gedolei hador, the yeshiva Midrash Shmuel is under the leadership of HaRav Binyomin Moskovits, who is assisted by highly talented talmidei chachomim and educators. The Rosh Yeshiva takes personal interest in each student and special effort is made to encourage students to advance and develop their individual potential.

There are currently over 130 students in the yeshiva, including 50 avreichim from all parts of the world.

Applications for the upcoming Elul zman are now being accepted. For more information please call the Yeshiva office 02-6433597 or FAX 02-6431064 or, in London, Mr. Y. Kruskal 181-455-9461.
