HaRav Yosef Efrati and HaRav Osher Neuhouse, members of the
Rabbinical Committee of the Chinuch Atzmai, met with the
Admor of Novominsk, who is currently on a visit to Eretz
Hakodesh. At the meeting they reported to him about
maranan verabonon's wishes to make structural changes
in the administration of the Chinuch Atzmai, to establish a
Rabbinical committee, and to include the representatives of
gedolei Yisroel in the administration the Chinuch
Atzmai.
The representatives of the Rabbinical Committee had a long
meeting with the Admor, reporting to him at length on the
current situation in the Chinuch Atzmai, including its
operation and the active involvement of the representatives
of gedolei Yisroel in the Chinuch Atzmai.
The Admor of Novominsk expressed his hope to actualize the
aspirations and plans of gedolei Yisroel regarding the
changes in the Chinuch Atzmai which is the largest and most
eminent educational institution of chareidi Jewry in the
world, founded by gedolei Yisroel of the past
generation. The purpose of this initiative is to uplift the
eminent educational enterprise, and to give it renewed
impetus in its efforts to expand the borders of
kedusha
in Eretz Hakodesh.
