A deeply moving ceremony took place this past Sunday in the home of HaRav Chaim Kanievsky which heralded the new Keren Hamikvaos established in memory of his late wife, Rebbetzin Bas Sheva Esther Kanievsky, daughter of HaRav Yosef Shalom Eliashiv. In the course of the ceremony, the construction of the new mikveh, named "Beer Sheva," was announced, to be built in the moshav Evven Sapir near Jerusalem. The plan calls for the completion of the building by the Rebbetzin's yahrtzeit on the upcoming Chol Hamoed Succos.
We heard the following fact from HaRav Nosson Zochovsky, one of the roshei yeshiva of Geon Yaakov and Chochmoh Vodaas, as he heard it from HaRav Yechezkel Sarna zt"l.
