Mezuzas Fixed at Talmud Torah Zichru Toras Moshe in
Jerusalem

Maklev fixed mezuzas at a dedication ceremony for Talmud
Torah Zichru Toras Moshe in Jerusalem. Administrators HaRav
Akiva Horowitz and the rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Bircas Moshe,
HaRav Avrohom Mendelson, hosted a tour of the talmud
Torah for Rabbi Gafni and his assistants, Rabbi Moshe
Shiffman and Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg, along with Rabbi Maklev
and his assistant, Rabbi Yisroel Klarman.
During the tour the guests stepped into various classrooms to
get a close-up view of the talmidim busy at their
studies. The guests tested them on last year's material and
were impressed with their command of the subject matter. Then
Rabbi Gafni and Rabbi Maklev were asked to place mezuzas
on the doorposts of the new floor of the talmud
Torah. Rabbi Gafni was impressed by the large number of
students in this building.
During a meeting in the administrative offices at the end of
the tour the heads of the talmud Torah thanked Rabbi
Gafni for his efforts so far to assist the talmud
Torah. At the end of his visit Rabbi Gafni promised to
visit again to address a number of requests the principal
made.
