by Yated Ne'eman Staff

In the conference rooms of the European Union's headquarters, 11 men and 2 women, several of them former prime ministers, debated whether or not the European Union's future constitution, currently being drafted section-by- section, should include a reference to the Divine.

Curtain Falls on Historic South African Community
by D. Saks

Another chapter in the saga of South African Jewish country life came to an end on Shabbos Parshas Mishpotim, with the formal closure of the Pietersburg Hebrew Congregation. Avos Ubonim Generates Spiritual Warmth During the Winter Months
by Yated Ne'eman Staff

Not even the blustery winds of winter could douse the warmth and the ruchniyus generated by over 42,000 Israeli talmidim who jammed nearly 700 shuls and yeshivas from Kiryat Shemoneh to Eilat during these past few months as part of the revolutionary Avos Ubonim learning program.

Bug Warning

To The Editor:

1. Produce stores (including those under top kashrus supervision) sell highly infested cauliflower and corn-on-the- cob, and there is no sure way to clean them.

OPINION & COMMENT

Don't Cut Out Torah

PNobody in Eretz Yisroel must decide which is the worst crisis facing Israel, whether the economy or the Palestinian terror. Both are so pressing that they cannot be ignored, even while the looming threats associated with the American war against Iraq are drawing all the attention.

HOME & FAMILY

Queen
by A. Ross, M.Ed.
