Representatives of the United States and Great Britain met
Palestinian officials in Ramallah to finalize details over
the incarceration of six wanted Palestinian militants holed
up in Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Mukata

at the recent emergency meeting about the attempts of Reform
Jews to acquire influence in the Yerushalayim school
system.
HaRav Boruch Shmuel Hakohen Deutsch, chairman of Degel
Hatorah's Vaadat HaRabbonim in Jerusalem, announced the
decisions made at the emergency meeting:
State Comptroller Eliezer Goldberg issued the 52nd annual
report on Monday, saying it found huge public waste and
neglect of the Arab sector and the handicapped.
Cabinet Approves Economic Package The Finance Ministry's economic program was approved by the
cabinet, by a large majority of 17-9 late Monday. The votes
against came from the five Shas ministers, three of Labor's
ministers (Dalia Itzik, Matan Vilnai and Ra'anan Cohen) and
David Levy (Gesher). Justice Minister Meir Sheetrit (Likud)
