Tuna Patties Revisited
by Leah Subar
"So," said my future husband with a grin, "do you like
to cook?"
I knew nothing about cooking and told him so frankly.
"However," I added with the self assurance found only among
the young, "I'm sure that someday I'll be gourmet."

Additional Luach Information
The last day for Kiddush Levonoh -- Iyar
One can make Kiddush Levonoh in the entire world until
Thursday afternoon, 13 Iyar (May 18), at 6:50 A.M., according
to the Summer Clock, Israeli time. The final time in most of
the world is therefore actually the entire Wednesday night.
In the far western countries Kiddush Levonoh can be
said according to the difference in time zones in comparison
to Eretz Yisroel. In the eastern countries one can make
Kiddush Levonoh on Thursday night, the eve of 14 Iyar,
according to the difference in time zones in comparison to
Eretz Yisroel.
The astronomical full moon is at 10:34 A.M., five hours and
forty-eight minutes earlier than the nigud emtzo'i and
eleven hours and twenty-six minutes earlier than the full
fifteen days from the molad. This month one should not
make a berochoh even bedi'eved following the
fifteen full days after the molad, and it seems that
he should only make a berochoh with shem and
malchus until the nigud emtzo'i.
