The work, "Statistics, Media and Jewish Organizations in America and Canada" is a mere 137 pages and is a rare book, but that is not the only reason why it was now sold to the University of Canada at the inflated price of $4500. Perhaps this is even a cheap amount considering who the original owner of this volume was.
On International Holocaust Day this past week, the Israeli Ministry of the Diaspora released its Report on Antisemitism - 2018. The massacre of innocent Jews in Pittsburgh and other incidents brought the yearly tally of those who died al kiddush Hashem simply because they are Jews to a recent high of 13 Hy"d, a number not seen since the bombing in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1994.
Good news representing an additional tier of development for the "Yeshiva Upon His Gravesite" is now in effect, thanks to the many requests received. Beginning from this past Tuesday, those who are interested will be able to receive a daily update of the material being studied in the six channels of "Yeshiva al Kivro" that was set up in memory of HaRav Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman zt"l in a clear PDF format using the newest text versions from the leading publishing houses.

From Our Archives Ensuring An Honest Judgment: A Shmuess For Parshas Mishpotim
By HaRav Sholom Schwadron zt'l
Justice for the Wicked
The Torah writes, (Shemos 23:6), "Don't pervert the judgment of your pauper in his quarrel," on which the Mechilta comments, "Your pauper," means a pauper in mitzvos. Don't say, `Since he is an evildoer, I will pervert his judgment' . . . " We need to understand what new point the Torah is making by telling us not to pervert the judgment of a rosho. Why would we have thought it permitted, if not for the Mechilta's interpretation?

NOSTALGIA OF DAYS GONE BY
Of Straying Lambs, Yearning for the Shepherd, Of Lost Souls, Of the Open Secret of Jewish Survival
by Anna Rephun Fruchter
Early in 1935, Dr. Johanna Maas called upon Mutti and told her that several women with no religious background had approached her with the wish to learn what it meant to be a Jew. Dr. Maas wanted to start a Chumash class and told Mutti that her name had been suggested by the Chinuch Librarian to be both a member of the class and a consultant. Mutti was delighted. From then on, she attended two 2-hour classes every week. She often remarked upon the rapid progress of the women and of their remarkable achievements and love of learning. "What does Rashi say?" they would ask Mutti.
