HaRav Shteinman Addresses Yeshivas Bein Hazmanim in Beit Shemesh
At a moving ceremony to raise the banner of Torah, bnei Torah, led by HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman shlita, gathered at Beis Knesses Mass'as Mordechai in Ramat Beit Shemesh Alef to mark the opening of the yeshivas bein hazmanim in the city.
Pesach Cleaning at the Kosel
Pesach preparations are in high gear at the Western Wall Plaza. The numerous notes wedged into the cracks in the Kosel are being removed and sent to sheimos.
The results of the AMIA Jewish center elections in Buenos Aires sanctified the Name of Heaven when the this week's vote went to the Orthodox kehillos, represented by the United Religious Party, which is led by HaRav Shmuel Aryeh Levine, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Chofez Chaim and head of the Agudath Israel institutions in Argentina.
Recent attacks against Jews have raised concerns of renewed antisemitic violence in France's Arab suburbs. In last week's attack a 21-year-old Jew sustained severe injuries from blows and air gun pellets. The assault took place as he was walking home from a gemora class at a shul in Villeurbanne, an Arab suburb of Lyons. "Hey, you have a Jewish face. You don't have the look of someone named Antoine. You're Jewish," two passing Arabs said to him.

Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel arranged for a special aliya laregel during
chol hamoed of Pesach. Thousands came to the special event. Many of
them arrived on a special train that was chartered for that purpose.
The high point of the trip was a gathering in Batei Machseh Square in
the Old City where the leaders of the yishuv addressed those
assembled.

When he arrived the Rebbe first told him: "I want you to be aware that a yeshu'ah is dependent upon emunah.
