Maran HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv shlita told the heads of Chinuch Atzmai and the members of United Torah Judaism during a visit at his home to seek guidance and instructions following the High Court decision on the Bais Yaakov school in Emanuel that "the High Court decision sets a precedent and reflects the personal worldview of the judges."

With the 2011 budget planning under way, Finance Committee Chairman MK Rabbi Moshe Gafni is demanding that the funding for yeshivas, kollelim and chareidi educational institutions be included in the basic budget and that it be removed from the coalition agreements. This issue was raised in a preliminary budget preparation meeting held by the Finance Ministry chairman with Udi Nissan, the Finance Ministry official in charge of budgeting.

Mor Investments Donates Ma'aser to Hatzoloh

Heads of the Mor Investment House board, Dror Krauss and Yitzchak Ilovitz, paid a visit to the offices of United Hatzoloh in Jerusalem and at the end of the visit decided to donate their ma'aser money towards the cost of maintaining the volunteer organization which works to save lives.
