Yeshivas Meichayil El Chayil -- Special Ovos Uvonim
Learning Session on Motzei Yom Kippur

On Motzei Yom Kippur, two hours after the end of the fast,
learning sessions were held at all branches of Ovos Uvonim
around the country. Called Yeshivas Meichayil El Chayil, the
program is modeled after Yeshivas Mordechai Hatzaddik on
Purim.
The event is designed as a means of receiving the
Shechinoh by having fathers and sons gather together
for one hour of Torah study following Yom Kippur, the day
devoted entirely to tefillas tzibbur. Tens of
thousands of fathers and sons participating in the weekly
learning sessions responded enthusiastically to the idea,
which has been endorsed by gedolei Yisroel.
