Thousands poured in to Meron on the day of Lag B'Omer to celebrate the hiluloh of R' Shimon Bar Yochai. According to police estimates over 300,000 visitors arrived. Heavy congestion was reported on the roads leading to Meron before and during Lag B'Omer, even though it came out on Friday this year.
