Ministry
by Eliezer Rauchberger
"Am Yisroel must express dread over the exultation and
cries of joy displayed by Shinui figures who embraced each
other and celebrated their victory of secularism after the

British General Cautiously Predicts US Success in
Iraq
by Yated Ne'eman Staff
As Maj. Gen. Graeme Lamb prepared to hand his command in
southeastern Iraq to another British general last week, he
said that Saddam Hussein's capture, and progress in restoring
oil installations, power stations and running water, as well
as the Iraqis' fast-rising prosperity, and some other factors
had led him and others to conclude that the American-led
occupation force can eventually hand a politically stable
Iraq back to its people.

OPINION &
COMMENT
Mass Aliyah to Israel is Obsolete
As we noted last week, the only long-term solution to the
demographic threat that faces Israel is children and more
children. Chazal said, "If there are no young kids, there are
no adult goats" (Yerushalmi Sanhedrin 10:2). If we
want to have people in the future to perpetuate the Jewish
people and the Jewish mission in the world, we must have
children now.
