On Monday afternoon, Minister of Finance Benjamin Netanyahu
and Histadrut chairman Amir Peretz signed an agreement that
ended more than three months of work slowdowns, stoppages and
sanctions. Of course, both sides claimed victory. The public

Israel to give away Hebrew Version of Open Office The Finance Ministry has begun distributing Open Office, a
suite of basic software programs similar to Microsoft Office,
for free. The ministry also said that it would begin to
distribute thousands of Open Office CD-ROMs throughout the
country. The offer is expected to last at least through

Mishnayos was held in Manchester last motzei Shabbos parshas
Vayigash, 3 Jan 04. The first prize winner was Avrohom Chaim
