Build your heaven and you enrich your heaven -- you enhance
your World-to-Come. Build your physical world, and you enrich
your physical world -- you enhance your present.
Build your heaven -- engage your heart and mind in fulfilling
mitzvos with precision, with grace, with joy -- and
you enrich your heaven. Pray to Hashem, heartfelt prayers,
and enhance your World-to-Come.
Build your physical world -- ensure that others also have
beautiful homes, fulfilling jobs, smiling, happy children,
and you enrich your surroundings. Work towards peace, harmony
between brother and sister, between husband and wife, between
communities, nations and enhance your present life.
Then there is Torah study. This builds both the heavens and
the world around you. Immerse yourself in Torah learning --
penetrate its depths. Toil over Torah lessons -- apply it to
your day. For in Torah living lies the ultimate source of
happiness and success -- in this world and the next.
