Gathering to Protest Vandalism of Talmud Torah in
Jerusalem

A large crowd took part in a protest gathering following an
act of vandalism in the classrooms of Talmud Torah Ezras
Torah in Jerusalem, including scornful treatment of the
seforim in the classrooms.
The rampage, perpetrated while there are ongoing beis
din proceedings regarding the talmud Torah
building, sent shock waves throughout the city's bnei
Torah. The protest gathering was held Sunday night at the
Ponovezh Beis Medrash on Even Ha'ezel Street in Jerusalem.
The list of speakers included HaRav Shmuel Auerbach, HaRav
Don Segal, the nosi of Talmud Torah Ezras Torah, HaRav
Aryeh Finkel, HaRav Aryeh Shechter and HaRav Shmuel Yaakov
Bornstein.
