Hundred Participate in Gathering in Memory of Rav Alter
Yitzchok Dershowitz

A large gathering was held at Heichal Kollel Halperin in
memory of Rav Alter Yitzchok Dershowitz z'l, founder
of Kollel Zeicher Yitzchok and the originator of the concept
of the night kollel in Eretz Yisroel. Hundreds of
bnei Torah were on hand to hear talks by HaRav
Chizkiyohu Mishkovsky, menahel ruchani at Yeshivas
Orchos Torah in Bnei Brak, and Rav Yisroel Eliyohu
Weintraub.
The speakers noted Rav Dershowitz' ahavas Torah and
the indefatigable efforts he invested in Torah learning. They
also noted Kollel Zeicher Yitzchok, the beis medrash
govoha for Torah and horo'oh named after its
distinguished founder, and the talmidei chachomim
passionately studying hilchos issur veheter, some of
whom are engaged in pesiko and horo'oh.
