Partner Communications, operator of the Orange cell-phone
network in Israel, has launched a campaign to distribute
thousands of shekels to local chessed organizations
within the framework of kimcha dePischa.
Company Director Amikam Cohen relates that Partner
Communications is proud of its close relationship with the
chareidi community and happy to take an active role in their
outstanding communal activities. He added that Partner
Communications will continue to assist the chareidi sector in
other areas.
With the decision to launch the campaign, company directors
met with rabbonim and chareidi communal leaders and founded a
committee to oversee the tzedoko distribution.
Committee members include Rabbi Mordechai Karelitz, mayor of
Bnei Brak, Rabbi Chaim Miller, deputy mayor of Yerushalayim,
and Rabbi Moshe Maya. Members of the committee met with
Partner's representatives and gave the company directors a
list of various chessed organizations.
Activists of the chessed organizations have expressed
their appreciation to Partner for its initiative in taking an
active role in the annual communal kimcha dePischa
distributions. Partner has a wide variety of marketing and
services programs as well as further plans for the chareidi
sector.
