Eligible Young Couples: Apply for Rental Subsidies Before the End of October 1999

Last week, Yated Ne'eman published a detailed article about the Government's decision to cancel rental subsidies for avreichim as well as the special grants in Elad- Mazor. After examining the issue in-depth, experts learned that this decision will take effect in the beginning of November 1999, and not at the beginning of January, 2000. Professionals in the mortgage field warn that all those eligible to receive such assistance from the Housing Ministry must make the necessary arrangements by the end of October 1999. At the same time, UTJ's representatives in the Knesset are doing there utmost to cancel this disturbing and highly discriminatory decision.
