It took us all some time to know, understand and internalize that the world has changed. In the past two decades, the materialistic arena is located in online technology. The gigantic and multifaceted world is prone to suck in the spectator inside in seconds - to a sordid money-oriented, pleasure seeking flood. Any attempt to erase such scenes from one's mind is complicated and extremely difficult.
The Agudah's annual convention has long been a key venue for Torah leaders and community askonim to discuss and address the critical issues facing the klal today. The Agudah mission has remained constant: To gather under the banner of our Gedolei Yisroel to advance the interests of the Jewish community.
Nothing brings back more potent memories for Torah Jews than flashing back to August 2012 as we stood 90,000 strong, led by our gedolim, the words Shema Yisrael piercing the very heavens. Those unforgettable moments came to life again on October 30th at MetLife Stadium, as a group of community leaders, askonim, and Gedolei Yisrael joined together to sign the contract for The 13th Siyum, which will be held on January 1st, 2020 at MetLife Stadium.
Almost a century ago, after elections to the Polish Siam, there were some who celebrated the victories and success of the chareidi community.
