Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret -

As of February 7 (2 Adar I) 348 millimeters of rain had
fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season
(August 1 to date). This represents 104% of the average
rainfall for this period and 65% of the average rainfall for
the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
In most of the country the rainfall is still above the average
rainfall for the period. We had almost two weeks without rain, but the rains have started again, boruch Hashem.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.485 meters below
sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters.
The level rose 9 centimeters over the past week. It continues to rise from the flow of rain thas has fallen. To get to the
red line we need to rise only 0.485 meters. It looks likely that we will get that. But keep davening.
