Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret - 5778.
As of March 15 (28 Adar) 326 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 69% of the average rainfall for this period and 61% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
This week there was no rain. The weather is very pleasant, but there is no rain. It is unlikely that there will significant rainfall before next fall.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.445 meters below sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters. It went up about 1 inch in the last week. This is much slower than it needs to go up.
