Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret - 5778.
As of February 15 (30 Shvat) 274 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 74% of the average rainfall for this period and 51% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
This week there was some rain, almost keeping up with the average.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.81 meters below sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters. It went up about 2 inches in the last week, but this is much slower than it needs to go up.
