Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret - 5778.
As of April 13 (28 Nisan) 354 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 68% of the average rainfall for this period and 66% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
This our last report of the season. It is unlikely that there will significant rainfall before next fall.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.395 meters below sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters. It went up about 2 inches in the last month. This is much slower than it needs to go up.
