The great damage caused by the use of the Smart phone is public knowledge in having plummeted many to the abysmal pit, and our Torah leaders have warned of the severity of the matter.
Lately, however, new versions of this device have appeared on the market, very similar in appearance and name to the kosher version, including a device called "the Smart Clock." These are the wiles of the evil inclination who tries to delude [the public] into believing that it was not forbidden. Some go so far as selling these models to children and bochurim and are taking share in contaminating the public in the most severe fashion and placing the future of the entire generation in grave danger.
Therefore, we hereby state our opinion that use of this device is totally forbidden, either by adults or children, and this prohibition applies as well even with devices that lack a SIM card or have screening.
Its sale and use is altogether forbidden.
In the merit of our vigil for kedusha, may each one enjoy nachas from all of his descendants, and may all the blessings stated in the Torah be his reward.
