The Internet is the great contemporary danger, just like the accursed Haskalah movement was prevalent in previous generations. It is an inciter and destroyer, attempting to fell victims in the vineyard of Hashem, and one must fortify oneself against it exceedingly.
Every one of us must understand that if he needs it for livelihood or anything else he must consider it as "Fire at Amram's House," and that he is housing fire by him.
Many people fall victim after being exposed to it through various heteirim, which leads them to terrible places and to even the worst sins in the world. The public must be made aware [of the danger] and warned that it is fire! May Hashem help to rid us of this trouble. May all those gathered here to hear words of encouragement, and all those who avoid the Internet and its subsidiaries and properly protect themselves, be duly blessed spiritually and materially with all the blessings stated in the Torah.

The Internet is the adjunct of idolatry and promiscuity in our generation. It is a devastation for our people, felling entire precious homes. Whoever possesses this polluted device with an unscreened Internet and does not make suitable safeguards has no portion in Olam Haba, as is explained in Brochos 61.
Blessed are you who have gathered here lesheim Shomayim to take counsel and create safeguards to mend this corruption, for it involves our very lives and the lives of our future generations. We are obligated to sever ourselves from this severe thing. Surely it is a great merit [to do so] and surely those who do so will be blessed with success in the rearing of their sons and daughters and enjoy nachas from all their progeny.
