As of January 19 (21 Teves) 178 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 72% of the average rainfall for this period and 33% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
It was a dry week in Israel, though the weather was very pleasant.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.495 meters below sea level, which is below the lower red line of -213 meters. The level rose 4.5 centimeters over the last week.
