The True Facts about Yeshiva Students in Eretz Yisroel
Although the situation here in Eretz Yisroel is very clear to all those who live here, it seems that across the ocean some people are distorting the truth for various reasons.
Similar to the historic immigrants waves and like the smaller groups which were `dealt with' over the years, so the Jews of Raydah - the remnant of the Yemenite Jewish community - were brought up to Israel a year and a half ago through the Jewish Agency. Aside from a small group of forty elderly and ailing Jews, the entire historic settlement of Jews in Yemen thus came to an end.

Enduring Traditions
The first time I encountered Yisrael, I had no idea that he was the man whom Rav Yaakov Oved, mori of the Yemenite community in Rechovot, had suggested I interview. At the time, I was searching for the beis haknesses of the Yemenite immigrants, while Yisrael was on his way there. His first words to me were, "How are you?" This, despite the fact that he had never met me before and never expected to. It was only afterwards that I found out who he was.
To Call in Hashem's Name
by HaRav Yehoshua Shklar
"And Hashem appeared to him . . . `Live in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you . . . and establish the oath that I swore to Avrohom your father . . . because Avrohom obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws'" (Bereishis 26:2-5). "Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your seed for My servant Avrohom's sake" (v.24).
