As of March 24 (14 Adar II) 467 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 95% of the average rainfall for this period and 87% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
The Kinneret basin and the north of Israel generally have less-than-average rainfall for this period.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.475 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a very, very slight rise of 0.025 centimeters from last week.
