As of January 9 (26 Teves) 216 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 109% of the average rainfall for this period and 40% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
Parts of the country have less-than-average rainfall for this period, but other parts are now ahead again.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.99 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a very slight rise of 0.5 centimeters from last week.
