Rain and Kinneret Watch

Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret.

As of December 24 (12 Teves) 116 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 77% of the average rainfall for this period and 22% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.

Most of the country has fallen to less-than-average rainfall for this period.

The current level of the Kinneret is -213.035 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a very slight fall of 0.5 centimeters from last week.
