As of February 18 (9 Adar I) 398 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 104% of the average rainfall for this period and 74% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
The Kinneret basin and the north of Israel generally have less-than-average rainfall for this period.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.685 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a slight rise of 0.315 centimeters from last week.
