Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret.
As of December 31 (19 Teves) 130 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 77% of the average rainfall for this period and 24% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
Most of the country has fallen to less-than-average rainfall for this period. This week just kept up with the average, but next week promises to be better than average.
The current level of the Kinneret is -213.04 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a very slight rise of 0.5 centimeters from last week.
