Internet Devices are Sinners and Cause Others to Sin
HaRav Meir Tzvi Bergman, Rosh Yeshivas Rashbi and member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, wrote:
I hereby join the call of gedolei Yisrael regarding the contaminated devices which the Torah warned against, namely, "You shall not follow after your [desires of] heart," neither to purchase or receive such equipment, and subsequently, not to follow "after your eyes" in viewing or using said devices.
The Stadt Shul of Vilna
Last week we reported on archaeological digs in Vilna to uncover the central shul of the community, the Stadt Shul. We wrote that the Nazis destroyed the Stadt shul. However Rabbi Eliach, head of the Machon Moreshes Yeshivos, corrected us to say that the Nazis only gutted to buildings and looted their contents. It was the Soviets who actually destroyed them after the war.

Communicating the Sanctity of Life According to the Torah
by Mordecai Plaut
A very upsetting incident occurred in Shaarei Tzedek hospital last week, in which organs were taken from a dying (but not yet dead) person in order to help others.
This is an issue that is enormously sensitive in the Torah world - to a depth and extent that we believe is frankly beyond the understanding of those on the outside.

If There is No Yir'oh, There is No Chochmoh
by HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman, shlita
Part II
In the first part, HaRav Shteinman said that Torah needs constant strengthening along with yiras Shomayim, for Torah and yiras Shomayim go hand in hand. Without yiras Shomayim, any outlook is superficial. One needs to seek the truth in order to be worthy.
