As of January 16 (5 Shvat) 245 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 108% of the average rainfall for this period and 46% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
Parts of the country have less-than-average rainfall for this period, but other parts are now ahead again.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.92 meters below sea level, which is just above the lower red line of -213 meters. There was a very slight rise of 0.7 centimeters from last week.
