On Monday 13 Shvat a large delegation of rabbonim made a one-day trip to Radin and the grave of the Chofetz Chaim to strengthen the Daf Yomi beHalachah project that is sponsored by the worldwide Torah organization Dirshu.
A bit after midnight of the night following Sunday, the private jet took off from Israel's Ben Gurion Airport. About four and a half hours later they landed at the international airport of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. It was a three hour bus ride from there to Radin.
The delegation davened a very inspirational Shacharis in the beis medrash of the Radin yeshiva. This was followed by a shiur in the current daf yomi behalachah by the Nosi of Dirshu, Rabbi Dovid Hofstedter.
Just before noon the party reached the cemetery where they visited the grave if Maran the Chofetz Chaim. They also visited the grave of HaRav Naftoli Trop. Two volumes entitled Sifrei HaGibborim were left at the grave site. These volumes include the names of those who undertook to study the daf yomi behalachah.
