May Hashem be with you,
We are now in the midst of the days of Chanukah, of which the Bach wrote that the harsh decree was a result of our having become lax in the avodoh, which empowered the forces of evil to such a degree that it was necessary to stand with extreme mesiras nefesh to combat the royal enactments.
This situation applies to our times as well, when certain forces attempt and seek willfully to attack our pure education by injecting studies which are counter to the spirit of our sages. Therefore it is incumbent upon us to stand like a solid wall and not allow them any inroad whatsoever.
This applies equally to our daughters, as well as to their teachers, who must stand up for their lives and prevent them from going to alien places for academic studies, but they should study on within the framework of Bais Yaakov.
May the principals be strengthened to stand firmly against such breaches and may we merit that the land be filled with the knowledge of Hashem like the waters fill the ocean.
