Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret.
As of December 11 (19 Kislev) 231 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 236% of the average rainfall for this period and 43% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
In most places in Israel the rainfall so far has exceeded the average for this period so far. In many other places the amount is double the normal amount. However there has not been much rain in the past week.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.835 meters below sea level, which is just a little above the lower red line of -213 meters. It is about four meters from the upper red line of -208.8 meters.
