HaRav Dov Landau Visits Shmittah Observing Farmers

Rosh Yeshivas Slobodka HaRav Dov Landau made a rare visit to the settlement Kadimah to encourage the farmers from Kadimah and surrounding settlements who rest their lands in the year of Shmittah. These men of the earth show true faith in Hashem and in spite of all the difficulties and temptations they fulfill the mitzvah, "Veshovsoh ho'oretz." HaRav Landau made a special trip and told the farmers: "May your hands be strengthened and may brochoh rest in your deeds."
