Our weekly report of the rain and the level of the Kineret.
As of February 12 (23 Shvat) 444 millimeters of rain had fallen in the Jerusalem area during the current season (August 1 to date). This represents 128% of the average rainfall for this period and 83% of the average rainfall for the entire season in the Jerusalem area which is 537 mm.
This past week there was a bit of rain in Jerusalem and and more rain elsewhere, especially in the north.
The current level of the Kinneret is -212.51 meters below sea level (another rise from last week), which is above the lower red line of -213 meters. The Kineret has not risen much this year. It is about four meters from the upper red line of -208.8 meters.
