Bodies are Removed from Graves and
Replaced with Other Bodies in Paris
A disgraceful scandal has been exposed regarding the cemeteries in
Paris. Jews are duly buried and afterwards, their remains are removed
and replaced by bodies of non-Jews. The remains of the disinterred are
placed in storage coffins in a warehouse or simply incinerated with a
total disregard of human dignity.
We are living in a generation where Torah has flourished and
increased. On the one hand, this is very encouraging and brings huge
simchah but on the other hand, to our dismay, we are faced with
elements who wish to legally shunt us aside and not only prevent us
from increasing and preserving Torah amongst Jewry but even chas
vesholom to lessen Torah. Those in the government don't understand
[the importance of Torah] and continually attempt to pass laws against
us to constrict Torah scholars. This situation calls for special
Heavenly compassion and finding favor in the eyes of those in power
lest they create a schism within the population, with one set of laws
for one segment and other laws for another, such as never existed
before.
Sharp Sanctions Planned against Chareidim who Won't Serve
Ma'ariv reports that according to reports about the plans being made
to ensure equality regarding the draft, it seems that the coalition
agreement will provide that those who refuse to military duty will be
heavily punished with harsh sanctions. Among these: they will be
forbidden to leave the country if they do not serve military or
civilian duty; their National Security [Bituach Leumi] status will be
disenfranchised, bringing the denial of other personal benefits. This
