In between the neighborhoods Neot Hapisgah, Kiryat
Sefer and Brachfeld, on a lot of 14 dunams (3.5 acres)
a new commercial center is rising. The complex will
include a bus terminal and 500 parking spaces, as well
as commercial and office space. A total of about 26,000
square meters (260,000 square feet) will be built. The
estimated time of completion is in 2015.
The entire project is being planned and will be run in
cooperation with the rabbonim to ensure that all
aspects are appropriate for the special character of
Modi'in Illit. Mayor Rabbi Yaakov Gutterman is firmly
behind it as part of his efforts to bring more
employment opportunities to his city.
The center will consist of two office towers at
opposite ends, connected by a series of two story
buildings that are directly accessible from the main
street.
