The Agudath Israel Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah Grapples With Interference with Chareidi Chinuch

The Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah met on Sunday to discuss ways of preventing government intrusion with chareidi education. The comprehensive discussion dealt with a list of ways of fortifying chareidi independence in chinuch which follows the solid time-worn path of Torah.
The meeting was attended by a roster of gedolim including: the Admorim of Ger, Belz, Vishnitz, Sanz, Slonim, Boyan, Biyala, Modzitz and Sadigura. The Admor of Seret-Vizhniz did not attend due to his weakness, as was the case with the Admor of Erloi, who sent a letter expressing pain over his absence and blessing the participants that they glorify Hashem's Holy Name by their presence.
