A chareidi family from Aix-les-Bains, France was attacked in Geneva last week. The father, mother, five children and grandmother drove to the Natural History Museum in the Swiss city during the morning hours. When they arrived, some of them spotted an unidentified youth with a threatening appearance who seemed to be waiting for them to leave the building.
When the family stepped out of the museum the children sat down in the family car and as the 32-year-old father placed the stroller in the trunk suddenly he felt stabs in his back.
Turning around he saw the assailant holding knife in his hand. During the ensuing struggle the unknown attacker — who was apparently a Caucasian neo-nazi — spewed unintelligible remarks. The victim sustained a total of four stab wounds in his back.
His wife managed to start the car engine in an attempt to alarm the assailant and he fled the scene. Passersby summoned emergency services and the father was brought to the emergency room of Hospitaux Universitaires de Geneve. He has since been discharged and is now recovering from his wounds at home.
