2,300 Students Entered First Grade in Kiryat Sefer; 2,600
Three-Year-Olds Entered Nursery

With the onset of the new school year, statistics show that
2,300 students graduated to first grade while 2,600 three-
year-olds are now attending nursery, out of the total 27,000
students in all the elementary level schools.
Modi'in Illit boasts 27 yeshivos ketanos for 13-16 year old
boys, three of which were newly opened this year: Ateres
Shlomo, Yismach Lev Mevakshei Hashem and Yeshivas Slobodka.
There are 11 outstanding yeshivos gedolos in the city as
well.
The mayor, Rabbi Yaakov Gutterman, said, "In the merit of
