Excitement grips the public regarding the central event of the World Siyum HaShas scheduled to take place on the 12th of Av, in the `palace of the King', Jerusalem, in a suitably large area, attended by the leaders of Torah and Chassidus.
The festive central occasion of the 12th round of the Siyum HaShas and the commencement of its 13th round will take place in a designated area near Highway One at the edge of Maalot Dafna in Jerusalem.
A special coordinating committee is planning this major event to glorify Torah and honor its scholars. In its discussions, the committee dealt with many organizational details so that this major celebration proceeds smoothly and to fully enhance this `Simchas Torah' celebration of the Torah shebe'al Peh with the goal of increasing the ranks of the King's legion with many more participants in the daily Daf Hayomi study.
