Roshei Yeshivos Urge Parents to Safeguard Sons from Spiritual Perils
Following calls by gedolei Yisroel, including HaRav Yosef Sholom Eliashiv and HaRav Aharon Leib Shteinman shlita, roshei yeshivos are issuing appeals to parents to safeguard their sons and remain alert to various spiritual dangers that lurk during bein hazmanim, such as tainted communications devices, including Internet perils and self-styled "chareidi" websites.
Lev L'Achim Warns Against Vacation Spots Operated by Missionaries
Heads of Lev L'Achim's anti-missionary department are warning the public to avoid arranging vacations or events at locations under missionary ownership. Although patronizing such places has been banned by gedolei Yisroel, these organizations have been making every effort to penetrate the chareidi camp, lately via so-called "chareidi" websites.
The government approved this week the construction of the city of Charish in Nachal Iron (Wadi Ara — lower Galil) and the government decided to set up a directors committee, to be headed by the director-general of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, to implement the decision to set up the city of Charish and other ways to find a housing solution for the chareidi sector.
