Kyrgyzstan Jews Wary Following Overthrow

Yeshiva and Seminary Summer Program Organizers Urged Not to Patronize Shabbos Desecraters
As seminaries and yeshivas make preparations for camps and other summertime leisure activities, gedolei Yisroel are urging organizers to visit and stay only at places that refrain from Shabbos desecration.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced he would have the graves located at the site designated for the construction of an emergency ward at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon re-interred. Netanyahu's move overturns the decision reached by a majority of cabinet ministers based on a demand by Deputy Health Minister MK Rabbi Yaakov Litzman to adopt an alternative building plan away from the graves.
Thousands contributed to a kiddush Hashem through their presence at the annual Lev L'Achim conference, held Monday at Heichalei Malchut in Bnei Brak.
