Health Ministry: 'Laniado Hospital Worthy of Emulation'
By Y. Sheinfeld
"Laniado Hospital functions in an impressive, proper and successful manner, beyond all expectations. The professional functioning of Laniado is worthy of emulation at Israel's other hospitals as well," Health Ministry inspectors concluded following a licensing inspection conducted last week at the hospital.
Once every three years the Health Ministry conducts a licensing inspection to check how hospitals across the country function. Following long hours of detailed evaluations of all buildings and wards, the inspectors gathered to present their findings.
They were highly impressed by recent advancements and equipment innovations in all departments, by the level of professionalism, by the attention to detail in treating patients and by the boundless care and dedication shown toward the patients.
Rabbi Gershon Leder, chairman of the Laniado board of trustees, was pleased with the findings, saying in addition to their official report the inspectors went out of their way to offer their compliments to the medical staff. Director of Medicine Dr. Avinoam Skolnik said he was happy the inspectors had an opportunity to see firsthand the exceptional professionalism the staff demonstrates in all departments.
